Yue Shi Architecture and Design
Founded in 2016, YSAD (右上建筑设计事务所) is a London and Beijing based architectural practices commit to deliver innovative works towards architecture, landscape design, urban planning, interior and product design.
YSAD is highly interested in creating new spatial experience through bringing together different design aesthetics; integrating architectural tectonics crossing regions; extracting simplicity from complexity, and meanwhile rethinking about modernism and minimalism.
The founder, Mr Sai Xiao 肖赛, graduated from Bartlett UCL with distinction.
His practice has extended into interactive architecture and installations, applying advanced robotic and multi-media technologies into architecture. Mr Xiao is currently directing the YSAD Beijing office.
The founder, Mr Yue Shi 石玥, studied architecture at the AA DRL and was previously working at Zaha-Hadid Architects as a senior designer. He has worked on a wide variety of commissions and competitions, including Nanjing Youth Olympic Centre, Algeria Grand Palace, Guangzhou Cross River Bridges, Dubai Light House, etc.
